There used to be a pair of them nested on the Cheat River just up from my house. Cool that they were able to save that one.

they actually all met up here next to where I work at the state police barracks in Uniontown I wanted to go over and see the bird, but unfortunetly I was scheduled to give a presentation and couldnt go =( we do have lots of pictures floating around.

I read another article yesterday saying that Bald Eagles are very rare out here in PA and that there are 2 nesting along the mon river in Point Marion so if you want to see one take a trip up to point marion and drive around for a bit you might see them.
