| I feel like it's time for a chainsaw ride. was looking at an "impassable" county road near the old quarry on 38 that goes up to shilo. It is about 3 miles long and I don't think anyone has been across it in a long time. Anyone in, or is everyone wanting to stay pretty for HGJShow ? | |

| I think that drive shafts are now being hand whittled from curly maple or something...no end in sight for the Jeep drought for me..another week, another week of backordered driveshaft... | |

| You could call champion drive shaft @304-265-0113 and ask to talk to rusty. Tell him bill at stagger referred him and tell him you are a member, which would enable you to tell waterfront that they in turn should refer all thier brake and driveshaft work to champion. By the way.........sure is sad seeing your shirt hanging around at the garage without you in it. | |

| So is the shirt hanging from the rafters like a retired jersey? Wow, that's weird. Anyhow, I spoke with WF Jeep and they said that I should be good to go by mid next week...so count me in for anything after next week. | |

| the site says this topic had 79 views and only 5 people replied, whats up? Me thinks elbows are knockin hows johnathin run road sound for sunday? It runs from near the quarry on 38 to the shilo picnic area and I don't think anyones been across it in years...decades. It is 3.7 mile stretch of impassable county road and would open up another way up the mountain. I believe that chainsaws will be required. Sunshine and mid 70's so lets go. Of note: the nook has closed down,(something about the build and it's owner) that leaves jerry's or mcdonalds, both yeck. Start early around 9am so as clean up the same day (jeep show people). Don't be scared | |

| Right on Bill, does everyone know what the elbow knock means? If they did, they would probably be more likely to reply . I'm sure there will be more trail clearing rides to go on once I'm fixed....no snickers, I meant the Jeep. | |

| Thanks in advance for any offers, but unfortunately, plans have been made already in the absence of the Jeep. Its Chili test batch day. I entered that "Fire on the Mountain" chili cookoff at Snowshoe last year and even though plenty of people liked my recipe, I didnt even finish top 10. So once I whip up this batch, I'll can it and bring a bunch to the next ride and you guys can take it home and tell me what you think. Jeepers like chili, right? The next cookoff is this July and I need to get my chili game face on so I have a fighting chance! | |

| jeepers love chili..........perhaps we could make a run to the "Fire on the Mountain" event and give some moral support. Go to be some trails down there. must go do some work now, I know I will see a dozen replys when I get back, right? | |

| okay, you guys didn't miss much........only DREW earning the "BALLS OF THE MONTH" title. I almost tried it, (did anyone hear my elbows?). "It", would be the hill climb on shilo's alternate ending that we all went around a couple of weeks ago. Of honorable mention; Dave from Fairmont did try "it", and tried it, and tried it. Cindy looked ill while briefly thinking about it (I don't think she actually thought about it at all). Donnie allowed his wisdom (and soberness) to prevail while going around it. Upper johnathin run road was nothing to write home about, but it did come out at the shilo picnic area. All things considered, it was a good run. I don't think I can bring myself to run by the farm on the way out again any time soon. Perhaps if limping out in the snow. Great Day! | |
